Our business is based on service and selling quality products since 1976. We have a history of rebuilding domestic, foreign, tractor, marine, truck, and heavy equipment parts. As of 2025, our business has transitioned exclusively to our Direct Start Conversion Kits.
Since 1980, Auto-Lec Rebuilders has been building Caterpillar Direct Start Conversion Kits. Since that time hundreds of kits have been sold. We have developed special drive end housings for our starters and gear drive alternators that make it possible, in most cases, to simply “bolt up” your conversion starter to the tractor.
